I graduated with both my bachelor's and master's degree in aerospace engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) and the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

During my time working towards my aerospace engineering degrees, I have had wonderful opportunities to tutor and teach algebra, precalculus, calculus, differential equations, physics, MATLAB, and engineering classes in one-on-one settings as well as teaching classes of up to 20 students. My teaching approach is to help students directly with their homework walking them through roadblocks and explaining concepts along the way.

I'm an aerospace engineer by day but I have always had a love of tutoring and teaching. My passion is helping students understand complex STEM topics by creating an encouraging atmosphere and breaking down topics into more straightforward chunks.

AutoCAD

AutoCAD

I’ve used Autodesk Design Suite, including Fusion, for 3D modeling and mechanical design in both academic and project settings. As Design & Manufacturing Lead for an Aviation team, I designed and built a high-performance UAV airframe, integrating custom components and optimizing for strength and weight. I also supported prototype development using CAD tools in my roles in industry. With hands-on experience in aerospace design and composite fabrication, I can help students learn not just how to model in Autodesk, but how to think like an engineer when doing it.

Career Development

Career Development

As a graduate of Missouri S&T and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in aerospace engineering, I’ve navigated the full journey from college to industry. I now work as a weight and balance engineer at an aerospace company, where I apply both technical and communication skills daily. Along the way, I’ve landed multiple internships, built a strong professional network, and gained firsthand insight into what helps early-career engineers succeed. Whether you're looking to secure your first internship or grow in your first full-time role, I’d love to help guide your path.
College Counseling

College Counseling

As an aerospace engineering graduate from Missouri S&T and UIUC, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating both college life and the path to post-college success. I have experience with internship searches, academic planning, and building connections, all of which I use to help students achieve their academic and career goals. Whether you’re in high school deciding what you want to study or a college student navigating tough coursework and career planning, I can help you develop the roadmap for success. I understand how stressful these times can be, and my patient, empathetic approach ensures you’ll feel supported as you work towards your future.
Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering

With experience in both programming and mechanical design, I bring a well-rounded skill set for computer engineering applications. I’ve used MATLAB and Python extensively for simulation, optimization, and automation—ranging from structural design analysis to integrating Python scripts into real-world aerospace workflows. I also have hands-on experience using Autodesk Fusion to design and prototype mechanical systems, including UAV components and generator hardware. Whether it’s coding algorithms or modeling in 3D, I can help students understand how software and hardware come together in engineering problem-solving.
Geometry

Geometry

I have 3 years of tutoring and teaching experience specializing in math, science, and engineering. I graduated with both my bachelor's and master's degree in aerospace engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) and the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. MATLAB

MATLAB

I’ve used MATLAB extensively throughout my aerospace engineering degrees at UIUC and Missouri S&T, applying it to real-world problems in structural optimization, flight mechanics, and computational aerodynamics. My projects included simulating UAV performance, developing control algorithms, and implementing numerical methods for inviscid and viscous flow analysis. I’ve also integrated coding and data analysis into engineering workflows. With both academic and industry experience, I can help students not just learn MATLAB syntax, but understand how to use it effectively in engineering contexts.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

With a master’s in Aerospace Engineering from UIUC and a bachelor’s from Missouri S&T, I have a strong foundation in core mechanical and aerospace subjects like statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and control systems. My coursework covered advanced topics such as structural optimization, flight mechanics, and computational methods using MATLAB and Python. Professionally, I’ve applied these concepts working on aircraft weight and balance, automation, and component design. I also have experience tutoring undergraduate engineering students and enjoy helping others build confidence and problem-solving skills through clear, patient explanations.
Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365

I use Microsoft 365 daily as a weight and balance engineer to communicate complex engineering concepts and streamline workflows. During my internships and full-time roles, I've built custom Excel tools that have saved my teams hundreds of hours in manual calculations. My background in engineering design has given me a strong grasp of how to organize data, automate tasks, and present technical information clearly. I'd be happy to help others learn how to use Microsoft 365 more effectively, whether it's Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Outlook.
Physics

Robotics

Robotics

I’ve been involved in robotics since middle school, competing in both FLL and FRC competitions through high school, where I gained hands-on experience with mechanical design, wiring, and basic programming. I later mentored FIRST robotics teams for several years, helping younger students understand how robotic systems come together. As a teaching assistant at UIUC, I taught electronic circuits and worked closely with students on problem-solving and foundational engineering concepts. With my background in aerospace engineering and industry experience as a weight and balance engineer, I bring a well-rounded perspective to robotics tutoring.
