Hello, I am Titan! I am a student studying Mechanical Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. I have always had a passion for tutoring various subjects that I have previously struggled with, because I understand what it is like to feel confused and discouraged in school. I take pride in my ability to simplify complex mathematical topics for students who are struggling or losing confidence. I work extremely well with younger students and all the emotions that accompany education, and I always strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I am great at analyzing how a student thinks and adjusting my explanations to fit their learning style. I am patient and kind to those who struggle, and I truly enjoy helping students grow not only in knowledge but also in confidence. Teaching and encouraging students, especially in mathematics, is something I genuinely love.
I have taken mathematics up to Differential Equations and have a strong foundation in Algebra, Trigonometry, and Geometry. I earned an A in College Algebra and Trigonometry and achieved A grades in Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III. I also earned a 31 on the ACT Math section. I believe that a student needs to master Algebra, Trigonometry, and Geometry before entering Calculus, and this is where I truly shine as a tutor. I have experience tutoring my peers in Calculus both in high school and in college. I have also tutored middle school students in basic mathematics at my local Boys and Girls Club. I am comfortable teaching students from 4th to 12th grade and adapting my teaching style based on their age, skill level, and confidence.
I would love to see the students I tutor improve their grades, strengthen their understanding of mathematics, and gain confidence in their abilities. I strongly believe that every student is capable of success with the right support and encouragement. I encourage any parents or guardians to reach out to me for questions or to discuss how I can help their student succeed.
