Hello! I’m Jonathan, a passionate educator holding a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Oklahoma Baptist University (4.0 GPA). My academic and professional background centers on theology, world history, geography, and cultural studies. I am dedicated to providing a supportive, high-encouragement space where students feel safe asking questions, filling knowledge gaps, and building true confidence in their studies.
Currently, I serve as an Adult Ministry Pastor, where my responsibilities include teaching theology, coordinating residency programs, and leading cross-cultural mission initiatives. Over my 9+ years in ministry—including 6 years as a youth pastor—I have developed a proven ability to break down complex historical, cultural, and theological concepts into engaging, age-appropriate lessons for middle school, high school, and adult learners. Additionally, having traveled to 17 countries, I bring a rich, real-world perspective to geography and cultural anthropology.
When tutoring, I work hand-in-hand with students and parents to tailor sessions to individual learning goals. Whether analyzing primary historical documents, guiding exegesis and paper writing, or breaking down global geography, I focus on celebrating student progress while equipping them with practical study and critical-thinking skills. I look forward to helping you excel!
