I am a dedicated and experienced educator with a strong passion for helping students learn and grow. My educational background reflects my commitment to both personal and professional development. I earned my Associate’s Degree from Indian Hills Community College, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. I later continued my studies and obtained a Master’s Degree from Park University in Teaching Technology. These accomplishments have provided me with a solid foundation in education, curriculum development, and the effective use of technology in the classroom.
My experience in education began during the 2005–2006 school year, and since then I have worked in a variety of roles that have allowed me to develop a broad understanding of student needs and school systems. Over the years, I have served as a substitute teacher, worked in after-school programs, and been a paraprofessional. I have had the opportunity to substitute teach students from Pre-K through 12th grade, giving me valuable experience across all age levels and learning environments. This wide range of experience has helped me become adaptable, patient, and skilled at building relationships with diverse groups of students.
Currently, I have taught full-time for five years and am now going on my sixth year in the classroom. My years of service have strengthened my passion for education and my dedication to creating positive learning experiences for students. I take pride in being a lifelong learner, an effective communicator, and an educator who strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. My journey in education has been built on commitment, perseverance, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
