I have substituted in every grade and every subject. I then had classrooms in first grade and taught sixth-grade math and science. As a teacher, the most rewarding aspect is when a student who is struggling finally understands. The confidence and smiles are the reward that bring me back to the classroom. I want every child to succeed and feel that they can accomplish whatever dream they have for the future.
I can teach most math up to 11th grade. I worked at a Learning Center as a Math tutor and Math SAT teacher. I was a classroom teacher for first grade as well as sixth grade teaching math to those age groups.
I substitue taught in sixth grade and seventh grade for long term in English and other subjects. I also had a first grade class to teach the basic too. I wrote a Masters thesis that was up to be published and have written legal contracts in business.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
