My experience includes helping students who need extra support, as well as those who are ready to be challenged further, and I take pride in adapting my teaching to meet each student’s needs.
In my classroom, I work with students of different academic levels and backgrounds, many of whom face challenges outside of school. Because of this, I’ve developed a patient and flexible teaching approach that focuses on breaking down concepts into manageable steps. In math, I emphasize building strong foundational skills and problem-solving strategies, while in English I focus on reading comprehension, writing clarity, and helping students feel confident expressing their ideas. I believe that when students understand the “why” behind what they are learning, they become more independent and successful.
I have experience working with middle school students in both group and one-on-one settings, and I tailor each tutoring session to the individual student. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying organized, preparing for tests, or building confidence, I work to create a supportive and encouraging environment. My goal is always to remove barriers to learning and help students recognize their own abilities and potential.
