I speak very fluent Spanish thanks to my upbringing. I’m very patient and can analyze areas of difficulty and put a plan together with suggestions to make the experience more comfortable for learning. I believe that with school resources and parent participation, the student can feel confident on his/her learning skills. Also, while employed at MGE, I assisted in translation and proper Spanish language usage for the Spanish community.

With good study habits programming became easy. Helped a lot of my friends while in college and lab time was fun.

I worked at DST Systems from 1987 until 1999 first as a Data Entry Clerk and then as a computer programmer in Cobol II. Was then hired by Missouri Gas Energy in 1999 to help out with the Y2K effort. Worked for MGE till 2014 in IT as a computer programmer, supervisor of a programming group dedicated to meter reading, then became supervisor of the IT Data Communications Center. My expertise in analysis and implementing solutions was very valuable to the company. I was instrumental in learning the metering systems thoroughly and teaching other programmers what to look for in problem solving situations by reading the Cobol language and interpreting and translating to the English language. Also taught the client (users within the company) where their expectations were compared to the actual programming processes. This helped in their views and system expectation adjustments and trust.

I wrote many usage instructions that included technical and also for client’s use and

I was hired by DST Systems as a Cobol 2 programmer from 1989 until 1999, then in 1999 I was initially hired as part of the task group to search, analyze, and change possible Y2K coding related issues for Missouri Gas Energy until 2014. Worked in a JCL and CICS environment as a computer programmer, supervisor of a programming group dedicated to meter reading, then became supervisor of the IT Data Communications Center.
