Hello I am Nathan. I am a Private Pilot with an Instrument Rating, currently finishing my Commercial Pilot certification. I went through flight school so I understand how hard it is when ground concepts such as airspace, cross-country flight planning and reading aviation weather become confusing. Hello I am Nathan. I am a Private Pilot with an Instrument Rating, currently finishing my Commercial Pilot certification. I went through flight school so I understand how hard it is when ground concepts such as airspace, cross-country flight planning and reading aviation weather become confusing. Ground instruction at flight schools is very costly! Learning the basics while spending over $250 per hour in the cockpit does not use time or money well in my opinion!

My mission is to provide clear one-on-one ground preparation and interactive oral practice at a lower cost so you can save money and feel fully confident when you enter every check-ride!

My teaching style relies a lot on understanding rather than simply memorizing facts. Watching pre-recorded videos and using software helps you pass a multiple-choice written exam but it does not ready you for a Designated Pilot Examiner. I specialize in realistic scenario-based oral exams that imitate the real checkride environment. We can break down a three-hour exam walk step by step through an E6B flight computer or analyze METARs, TAFs and Prog Charts. Most importantly, I want to customize each lesson to your learning style so that difficult ideas finally make sense!

Besides my flight credentials I have years of experience managing high-volume regional operations. That experience gives me structure, clear communication and a goal-oriented approach for every session. I know that your time and training budget are valuable, if you are stuck on a topic preparing for your Private Pilot written test or worried about an upcoming practical test I am ready to help you master the material efficiently.

Send me a message today with what you're working on right now and let us get you ready, for your checkride!
