Bio

I have 6 years of professional tutoring experience in Latin, Ancient Greek, and Biblical Hebrew with college peers, and one year of experience teaching and tutoring middle and high schoolers. I graduated from Harvard with a Master's in Ancient Mediterranean Religion and from Cornell College with a B.A. in Classical Studies and Religion. While at Cornell, I was awarded the 2020 Crossett Award for Excellence in Classical Studies for my work in Latin and Ancient Greek.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is finding individualized ways to help students who think uniquely. My goal is to instill confidence and capability in students whose needs are not fully met by conventional education.
Like many people my age, in childhood I fell under the spell of Percy Jackson, and to this day I am fascinated by religion in the ancient world.

I have a Bachelor's in Classical Studies and Religion from Cornell College and a Masters of Theological Studies in Early Christianity from Harvard, where I studied under Giovanni Bazzana. I specialize in the relationship between Judaism and Early Christianity from the Second Temple period up to the fourth century AD, as well as apocrypha from that same period. I am passionate about understanding texts in the original Greek.

Excellent and Supportive Latin Tutor
