Bio

Engaging? Absolutely — I make math click and stick.

As a math major with a perfect 36 on the ACT Math section and a 4.23 high school GPA, I know how overwhelming math can feel — and I know how to make it manageable. I’ve helped students go from D’s to B’s and A’s, and I want to help you or your child gain that same confidence.

I specialize in:
- ACT Math prep (efficient strategies & high-impact review)
- 6th–12th grade math (Pre-Algebra through Precalculus)
- Catch-up tutoring, test...

I’ve tutored classmates, younger students, my five younger siblings — even my girlfriend (who’s training to be a teacher)! Whether you're struggling with algebra or aiming for a perfect score, I tailor my sessions to your learning style, your goals, and your pace.

What really gets and keeps me motivated as a tutor is that “AHA!” moment when the concept clicks — when math stops being scary and starts making sense. I build lessons around engagement, not boredom — no dull worksheets, just clarity and confidence.

Let’s work together to make math your strength.

ACT Math

ACT Math

I've taken the ACT a total of 3 times, scoring a 34 in math, 35, then a perfect 36. Each of the times I've taken the ACT, my math score has never been below 34!!! I love the ACT math section (don't talk about english though😭) and I am confident to help students understand and prepare for the most difficult section of the ACT (but it won't be difficult after taking sessions with me)
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

That's right! 8th grade. Algebra is a concept that you will constantly use throughout the rest of your math career, I used fundamentals built by Algebra in Calculus 3 this recent semester! My 8th grade math teacher was my favorite teacher and the one who inspired me to become a tutor after teaching the class efficiently about Algebra 1. My favorite subject by far (Calculus AB coming in second) and it's my desire to become a master tutor at this subject
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

If you passed Algebra 1, Algebra 2 is legit the same difficulty. It's just like Algebra 1...But with more new concepts that are "harder" (and by harder they just mean they take more building up to get to). Algebra 2 was a fun class just like Algebra 1, don't let the number intimidate you, they have the same difficulty as long as you take Algebra 1 before this class. One of the easiest A's my freshman year of HS.
Calculus

Calculus

Whenever anyone asks me about my dream job...I tell them to teach calculus. Seems like a lame job, but while my Calculus AB class was during covid, the concepts were interesting and the class answered the ongoing question in everyone's mind "When will I ever use this in the real world?" I have absorbed and digested calculus and it has bled to more stages of my life than just the mathematics classroom. This was one of the first of my 13 AP classes I took and an easy A my junior year of HS.
Geometry

Geometry

That title may seem arrogant, but I took this class before Algebra 2 my freshman year of High School and was one of the easiest math classes BY FAR. By using the socratic method, my geometry teacher pushed us students to reason how we get a formula, and I hope to do the same to my students so that they can have the pieces of the puzzle fall into place like I did and remember the formulas years in advance (No joke, it's been 5 years since I was in geometry class and I still remember how to explain the formulas)
