I have been a teacher for 7 years, beginning in a high school (9th-12th) alternative setting, then teaching our highest needs student at the elementary level (2nd-5th), and have spent the last 4 years teaching in a self-contained classroom with a focus on academics and life skills at the middle school level (6th-8th). I have worked with students with high frequency severe behavior, Autism, ID, ODD, and more.
I am very passionate about my job, have a strong belief that all students can be successful, and view every improvement as a reason to celebrate our students no matter the size of the accomplishment.
