I was born, raised and studied in Colombia and worked for 12 years in that beautiful country in South America. I came to the United States 23 years ago and could not speak English. I understand how difficult it is to learn a new language as an adult and how important it is to start learning a new language from a young age. I have extensive experience in tutoring in Spanish for children and adults. I am the mother of a 30 year old adult, my son came with me to the United States very young. I encouraged him to keep the Spanish language because it is his first language and today he is a fully bilingual adult and a great professional. I am very happy to have been his Spanish tutor during the time he was at school. I have also volunteered for Hispanic Organizations as a translator for the Latino community. I have helped youth, adults, and seniors learn through arts, games, and videos. I believe that all types of students learn faster in a fun and engaging environment.
