I have a master's in biochemistry and previously worked as a researcher at a health science center. I have worked as a teaching assistant for advanced undergraduate biochemistry labs, so I am very comfortable working with students and tutoring, having completed 4 semesters of teaching these courses. My strong suits include math, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and I also have experience with writing (freelance writer and have written a 100+ page thesis!). Despite my busy work schedule, I miss teaching and am eager to tutor. I really enjoy not only teaching, but learning new things myself. Even if there is a topic I haven't reviewed in years, I am quick to refresh myself.

I am flexible with online lessons or in person.

I scored highly myself on the GRE, particularly the math section, and I have always been strong in algebra. A lot of my thesis research involved data processing, which involved both algebra and calculus. Most lab courses I taught are also math-heavy.

I have a B.A. and M.S. in biochemistry. I have taken and excelled at course work in all 3 fields. I also have taught advanced undergraduate biochemistry labs which combined molecular biology, biochemistry and chemical techniques into the curriculum.
