I bring over seven years of university-level teaching and program development experience to my tutoring practice. After earning my PhD in English with a specialization in Writing Studies from SUNY Binghamton, I served as both a professor and Writing Center Director at Arkansas State University. My academic background includes published research in sound studies and writing pedagogy, which informs my approach to helping students find their authentic academic voice.

Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with diverse student populations, from first-generation college students to international ESL learners to STEM majors tackling complex research writing.
