After being a mortgage broker for a couple years, I decided it was time to do what I always thought I should do, teach students. I love working with kids and this seemed like the right time to pursue this. I worked for a year and a half in a local alternative school, actually getting it started from the ground up. I was a paraprofessional while I was obtaining my certification.
