Hello, my name is Danielle or Dani for short. I am a college graduate with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. I have taken many mathematics courses throughout the years and have learned that I absolutely love math. In college I took math classes that consisted of elementary math, personal finance, statistics, trigonometry, and AP Accounting. In school, I was a great student with straight A's and B's in all of my classes. I was often asked by my classmates to help them learn how to understand how to do the math calculations. Despite being the youngest student in my college classes, I got the best grades of my class and tutored my other classmates to set up the equations and how to solve the problems for themselves.
As for my experience teaching kids, I teach kids from age 3 to grade 6 in dance, math, science, and nature once a week and have been doing so for the past few years. Teaching these kids has brought me a lot of patience and it has taught me how to grab their attention when they lose focus. I have a great love for math and want to be able to share that with others so that they can learn how to do it on their own and be able to understand it as well. I currently tutor my cousin because she struggles with math and is wanting to be able to pass a placement test for a college mathematics course that she is required to take in order to get her Associates Degree in Business.
