I’m a 16 year military service member who serves full-time as an instructor for Soldiers, bringing a disciplined, focused, and encouraging approach to teaching. Before my full-time military career, I spent five years teaching in middle school classrooms—three years as an At-Risk teacher and two years as a middle school math teacher. My time in education taught me how to support students who need structure, confidence, and clear, engaging instruction to thrive in math.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, a teaching certification in Mathematics for grades 5–9, and a master’s degree in Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Positive Coaching. This unique background has shaped my tutoring approach: I focus on building strong academic skills through positive reinforcement, clear explanations, and individualized support. I believe that success in math isn’t just about getting the right answer—it’s about developing a mindset that embraces challenges and builds confidence.
Whether working with struggling students, those needing test prep, or students looking to get ahead, I bring experience, structure, and adaptability to each session. My goal is to help every student I work with feel capable and supported, no matter where they’re starting from.
