I've taught for over 20 years and have lots of experience with college students, adults, and have high schoolers myself who are taking French now, so I have plenty of experience with all types of students. I focus on a modified communicative method that ensures grammar isn't boring and is contextualized, and I share tips not only for learning French, but also for studying and habits of mind and a challenge all my students to have a "learner's mindset". On my evaluations, students report that I'm engaging, flexible, caring, and committed to helping them explore and meet their French learning goals.
