His attitude and grade have both skyrocketed after working with her - and in a relatively short period of time. It is evident that he enjoys the lessons and his conversational Spanish has improved remarkably. If your son/daughter wants/needs a little extra help with learning Spanish (or probably French too) I highly recommend teaming up with Valerie to use her experience and patient teaching abilities.

Excellent in both French and Spanish- Great with kids
Valerie is working with my 16 year old junior in High School on French 3 AND with my 13 year old 8th grader in Spanish. She has high standards and is excellent with both kids. We started with her over the summer to keep the kids using foreign language and not have a big summer slide. So far they are off to a great school year.

Smart, engaging, and offers clear explanations
My son really enjoyed working with Valerie, and will definitely reach out to her again for help as the need arises! She helped tutor him for a French final exam, for which he did not feel prepared. She was able to clearly explain topics that he felt were tricky, was easy to understand, and he felt confident in his knowledge by the end of the session. Highly recommend!

The Best Tutor I've Ever Had!
Valerie is all of the things you want in a tutor - fun, compassionate, patient, perceptive, knowledgeable and culturally diverse. In only six months, Valerie taught me all of the verb tenses, a wide variety of vocabulary and pronunciation and comprehension skills. My Spanish speaking partner is extremely impressed with what I have learned in a short period of time- all thanks to Valerie. I will continue with Valerie on other languages even after Spanish.
