About Riley

Bio

We all remember that one teacher we had that embarrassed us in front of the class for not understanding something. My goal is to be the exact opposite of that. I feel that people learn best when they feel free from judgment, not on a time constraint, and when they're able to apply the new concepts to everyday life. I have a very patient and kind-hearted demeanor. You will never feel belittled or talked down to by me. Our space is a safe space to learn and grow at whatever pace is most...

Our space is a safe space to learn and grow at whatever pace is most comfortable to you. I am willing to tutor people of all ages, conditions, and various subjects.
I spent most of my free time in high school tutoring math (prealgebra, geometry, precalculus, and calculous). Aside from the math tutoring, I also volunteered in the special ed classrooms for whatever subject was being taught. This type of experience has not only strengthened my compassion for all different types of learners, but it has made me much more patient in finding new ways to help others.
I graduated from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with a BA in Business Administration in 2020.

I now have 6 month's experience as an office manager at a roofing company. There, I specialize in HR, Payroll, Invoicing, and maintaining all of the company's financials. Everyday, I use Quickbooks and Excel. My daily tasks range from maintaining confidential, detailed, financial formats and databases, to financial analysis, balancing company finances, sending customer invoices, and managing payroll.

Before I was an office manager in the roofing industry, I worked as an Executive Assistant for two financial advisors. I have 5 years’ experience as a personal assistant/receptionist in finance/wealth management. I started the process of licensing to become a financial advisor and passed the first Securities Industry Essentials examination. While I chose to step away from that industry, I am familiar with FINRA and SEC practices and can teach the subjects well.

Just send me a message and let's get started!!
