Hi, my name is Faith!
A little about me—I started out practicing nails on myself before pursuing a nail technician’s course at CTC Fort Osage in Missouri, where I graduated with my nail license. During nail school, I spent a lot of time tutoring my peers, and since then I’ve continued mentoring new cosmetology students. I’ve worked with many different types of learners, and I take pride in being able to adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s needs. To make tutoring accessible and flexible, I typically connect with students over Google Meet.
Nail school wasn’t easy, but I consistently excelled in homework, tests, and practicals. After graduating in May 2024, I worked on commission for three months at a well-known local salon before going independent that October. That experience opened my eyes to so much more about the nail industry—things I never would have learned in school alone.
I believe no nail or cosmetology program fully prepares students for the licensing exam or for what comes afterward in the real world. That’s why I’m passionate about helping students bridge that gap. My long-term goal is to become a licensed instructor so I can give future students the thorough preparation I wish I had. For now, I’m focused on tutoring cosmetology students, sharing the lessons I’ve learned, and supporting others who are walking the same path I once did.
I look forward to connecting with you!
