I currently am a sixth grade science teacher. I have been a science teacher for five years and have loved every minute of it. I have been teaching in the classroom setting for the past five years. I get the opportunity to teach all demographics of students at all different levels academically. I have experience with dealing with students with 504/IEP‘s and creating an equitable learning experience for all learners. I also teach a daily middle school skills course where I get to tutor and work with students one on one and varying core topics. I find myself most comfortable tutoring and science and math, as I have had to take a substantial amount of coursework throughout obtaining my degree as a teacher. One of my greatest strengths is creating positive relationships with students which helps foster trust In the learning process.
I currently am enrolled at Maryville University pursuing my doctoral degree in education administration. My graduation date will be December of this year. I am currently certified as a science teacher grades five through nine and have a Principal certification K through 12.
