Chemistry is far from the favorite subject of many students due its seeming difficulty and illogicality. I offer you a different view of chemistry: logical and straightforward. I adapt to each and every student and will not stop until you know material on the level you need to. I had a successful career as a professor of organic chemistry but now I want to branch out to tutoring because I love working with students one-on-one. I consider it a personal victory when you understand material and succeed in your career because of it. You are my priority and and I will find the way to help you no matter what anybody else says. There is no such thing as a difficult subject, you just need a good teacher! Try me! I look forward to working with you!

We met with Dr. S. for the first time and already our daughter feels better about grasping Chemistry. Dr. S. was thorough, patient and intuitive into our daughters needs with what she understands and what our daughter needs to work on. She is helping build Abby's self confidence! We look forward to meeting with Dr. S. again soon and setting up regular tutoring sessions.
I cannot say enough how helpful she's been so far! There never seems to be enough time in the session; however, this has nothing to do with the tutor just the difficult course material.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
