I have extensive experience as a professional photographer and small business owner, producing original product in a wide range of photography. I have a strong background in all format cameras, lighting, digital and film applications. I have knowledge in capturing the subject matter at its best utilizing lighting and subject matter. I use Photoshop and other creative programs to enhance and manipulate images. Mentor and teach college interns. I give photography lectures, with over 25 yrs experience.

Out of college, I worked for a professional photographer photographing weddings, then moved to Europe landing a job with The Corps of Engineers. It was an experience of travel in Europe, photographing most being built by the Corps as well as any journalism and portraits needed. I ran the lab itself, processing and printing for the newspaper, slide organizing, filing and sending to our office in DC. I have extensive Public Relations experience internally and externally.

After years I moved to be a supervisor of 21 managing a broader Photography lab. Teaching my knowledge has always been a goal. I enjoy sharing what I have learned from jobs and experience.

Upon returning to U.S. I took on jobs in the framing of photography and images, learning an art of color scheme and design. Creating Fine Art Photography from images taken in Europe and Cowboy, Rodeo scenes in Colorado, I have been solo or involved in many art shows selling a nice percentage. During this time I was involved in other public relation positions widening my career.

In recent years I have taken on the challenge of being a small business owner, which has many pros and cons. I desire to widen my work flow with teaching and/or other areas of interest.
