I am a health technology and marketing professional who is fluent in Spanish, Dutch and English and have worked directly in many countries and with people of many different cultures in Europe and Central and South America. As I was raised overseas and subsequently worked professionally in business roles where language fluency was essential, I learned how to communicate, mentor and solve challenges applying these skills.
As a tutor, I intend to apply principles of learning and communication in a new language (Spanish) with examples, as well as guide students to effective strategies of immersion. In other words, the depth of cultural and Spanish-language lifelong learning experiences I will transfer in how I tutor students.
I have mentored junior marketers in Latin America for various multinational companies, and am a Menttium mentor for a sales leader in Argentina, in each instance my Spanish fluency and business experience is a requirement for success. for successful support. In addition, I have tutored American students in Spanish and lectured extensively on international marketing and business practices at two colleges; Otterbein (Columbus, OH) and Saint Paul College (St. Paul, MN) - classes in economics, business and marketing.
