Hello!
I have over six years of experience tutoring K–12 students one-on-one, both independently and at Kumon Learning Centers. Before college, I completed the University of Minnesota Talented Youth Mathematics Program (UMTYMP), which gave me a strong foundation in advanced math. I also have experience with test taking strategies for the ACT and SAT. I went on to earn my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wellesley College, where I also worked as a peer tutor for the Computer Science Department.
Since graduating, I've continued working in education—both in the EdTech sector and as a teaching fellow abroad. Through all of these experiences, I've developed a deep appreciation for teaching and a passion for making math more approachable and meaningful for students.
My tutoring style focuses on walking step-by-step through problems, identifying gaps in understanding, and building a strong conceptual foundation. I believe that when students truly understand the “why” behind what they’re doing, it becomes easier to apply, remember, and build upon.
I look forward to helping you gain confidence in your learning journey!
