My name is Sriprada! I am an incoming first-year medical student. I recently graduated cum laude from the Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Program at Case Western Reserve University. I have received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Biochemistry with double minors in Bioethics/Medical Humanities and Classics and a Master’s of Arts degree in Bioethics. I scored 518 (95th percentile) on the MCAT and 34 (98th percentile) on the ACT.
My tutoring journey began when I started one-on-one Spanish and Algebra tutoring in high school. In college, I was an ACT tutor at a non-profit organization for two years and served as a tutor coordinator at the same organization for six months. I am now volunteering as an adult GRE tutor as well.
Throughout these experiences, I have learned the importance of a student-led approach to tutoring. By focusing on each student’s specific needs, tailoring my lessons to their pace, and forming my explanations to suit their learning style, I was able to see improvements in students’ scores and confidence. I strive to help students not only increase their scores but also develop a thorough understanding of the material.
