Hello and thank you for considering me as a tutor. I specialize in helping nursing and paramedic students strengthen clinical reasoning, test-taking strategies, and simulation performance. I am a practicing CVICU registered nurse with a long background in emergency medical services and clinical education. Before becoming an RN, I worked for many years as a 911 and critical care paramedic, where I gained extensive experience caring for patients in high-acuity situations. I have also served as a paramedic instructor and taught in several EMT and paramedic training programs in the Boston area. In addition, I have taught American Heart Association courses including ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Through these roles, I have worked with students at many different stages of their education and understand the challenges that come with learning complex medical concepts and preparing for high-stakes certification exams.
I specialize in helping nursing and paramedic students prepare for certification exams such as the NCLEX, NREMT-B, and NREMT Paramedic exam. My tutoring focuses on helping students identify knowledge gaps and develop effective strategies for approaching exam questions. Many students struggle not because they lack knowledge, but because they have difficulty interpreting how exam questions test clinical reasoning and patient prioritization. During our sessions we break down practice questions step by step and review key concepts such as cardiology, ECG interpretation, pharmacology, airway management, and patient assessment so that students can understand both the content and the reasoning behind the correct answers.
My goal is not only to help students succeed on their exams, but also to help them feel confident applying their knowledge in real-world patient care situations. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, strengthen their clinical reasoning, and build the confidence needed to move forward in their healthcare careers.
