Over the course of my career, I have edited more than one million words. I hold several certifications, including the ACES Certificate in Editing, the Knowadays Becoming a Proofreader certificate, and the LinkedIn Editing Mastery certificate. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in print journalism and French from Saint Cloud State University and a master’s degree in creative writing and publishing from Western Colorado University.
I previously worked as a contract proofreader, editor, and formatter (InDesign and Word) for Proofed and now operate my own small publishing company, Pursuit Press. My journalism training and publishing experience have sharpened my attention to detail and editorial precision.
