I am currently a student at Carleton College with an anticipated major in Physics, and I have a strong academic background in math and science. Throughout high school, I maintained high academic performance while balancing leadership roles and extracurricular commitments, including varsity athletics. My education has helped me develop strong problem-solving skills and a clear understanding of subjects such as algebra, geometry, physics, and general science, which I am excited to share with students who want to improve their confidence and performance.
I have experience working with younger students in both teaching and mentoring roles. As a ski instructor, I worked with children ages 4–12, helping them learn new skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. I also volunteered in youth sports camps where I taught fundamental techniques and helped students stay engaged while learning. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adjust my teaching style to different ages, and create a positive learning atmosphere.
In addition, for my senior project in high school, I provided one-on-one tutoring to both elementary and high school students. This experience allowed me to work directly with students on academic subjects, identify areas where they were struggling, and develop personalized approaches to help them succeed. Through these tutoring sessions, I learned the importance of patience, adaptability, and building student confidence, and I look forward to continuing to support learners through individualized tutoring.
