I was a college mathematics professor for 6 years, where I taught many courses including liberal arts math, precalculus, calculus 1, calculus 2, linear algebra, and abstract algebra. I also held office hours regularly where I worked one on one with students. Before that I was a graduate teaching assistant for 6 years where I taught calculus 1, linear algebra, and differential equations and TA’d for many more classes. My teaching philosophy is student-centered and I encourage students to have a growth mindset when it comes to learning—a mindset that thinks “I can do this, even if I can’t do it yet.”
