I am Jacqueline! I graduated summa cum laude with a master of industrial/organizational psychology degree. My goal in earning my degree and applying it in my work is to help others be successful and enjoy their work. This is sometimes a challenge in school when you don't have the choice to not attend or to pick classes - but a plan, studying techniques, and organization methods that are catered to how you operate and learn can help. In fact, it can mean the difference between being successful or not. When working with students, I take the time to understand motivators, drainers, current habits and what is working and what is not. This way I can work with the student to create a customized plan that will make the student feel good about the work accomplished and be a motivator to build momentum. As we move along the journey together, we customize the plan to ensure everything is working as well as possible. The goal is that the student learns the skills that will work best for them so I am no longer needed. The student can carry these skills with them long after graduation. I have been coaching teenage kids to drive success and results since 2006. Application of my own education in Industrial / Organizational psychology to this coaching has proven successful in understanding key concepts in helping with motivation, confidence, and strategy to help them find success in their own best way. Prior experience as a Military Police Officer has helped me understand the power of structure in personal development. I have also spent 4 years as a learning & development professional where I researched and applied concepts of learning theories and launched a mentorship program in this space.
