Hi!
I moved to Minneapolis from South Florida 4 years ago, where I have certification in Secondary Math, grades 6-12, and Special Education. I have taught in the public schools for 7 years, private/homeschool for 10, and online with Florida Virtual School for 2. I have also tutored a variety of students and levels from home school, private and public school, including online courses for 15 years.

When my daughter missed several weeks of school due to an illness, Laura worked with her to explain the concepts she missed. She also gave her strategies for studying for the final (Honors Algebra II), which were very helpful. Over the years, my daughter has become convinced that she is not good in math and Laura helped take away her anxiety. She sat for the test with more confidence than she's had in years. We are definitely having Laura help her with Honors Pre-Calc right from the beginning of school next year.

Laura has helped my son with his algebra 2 class. He is now grasping the homework and has more confidence. My son usually dislikes tutors, however with Laura, he is comfortable with her and asks questions. Laura also has a flexible schedule.
