Rachel is Amazing!!
I wasn’t sure how well I’d take to online language tutoring, as I usually learn best in more traditional, in-person settings with someone right beside me. However, I needed help since I was taking university-level Elementary German I, and my pronunciation was shocking. Despite spending numerous hours studying the core concepts, they never really stuck. Once I started working with Rachel, she completely transformed my learning experience! In just four months, my comprehension has improved more than I ever imagined; it feels as if I’ve spent time studying abroad. What truly made the difference was Rachel’s warmth, patience, and sense of humor. She always made our sessions feel relaxed and fun; we shared so many laughs, sometimes to the point where I forgot I was even learning something challenging! When grammar concepts became tricky, she’d pull out a little song or rhyme to help me remember, and somehow, it always stuck. Even when our sessions ran a bit over time, she never made me feel rushed. Learning with Rachel feels like studying with a smart friend who genuinely cares about my progress. I’m truly grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor who brings knowledge and heart to the table!

I had the opportunity to work with Rachel for several months in preparation for a German listening exam. Even from the first lesson, working with Rachel was very easy going and informative. She was able to help me polish my German conversational skills over different topics while helping me work on grammar and sentence structure. It never felt like work and more like speaking with a friend while gaining a better understanding of the language. Rachel also helped me gain more confidence with speaking German by being very patient as I formulated and gave my responses. It was a lot of fun being her student and because of her help, I was able to pass my exam and more importantly have conversations in German with my family members in just 10 lessons. I would recommend her to any student looking to refine their German speaking skills.

Keeps me calm
Rachel has taught me a lot about the German language works. I was really stressed out about the class because everything was in German.
