I am a bilingual English and Spanish speaker pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota, where I hold a 3.4 GPA. As a first-generation college student who navigated the college application process, financial aid, study abroad, and academic life entirely on my own, I bring genuine empathy to every student I work with. I know firsthand what it feels like to figure things out without a roadmap, and that experience shapes how I show up for the people I support.
I currently work at Student Accessibility Services at CSB, where I help students with diverse learning needs learn to use assistive technology such as screen readers, note-taking applications, and other accessibility tools. I also guide students through housing concerns, academic accommodations, and connect them with the right campus resources when challenges arise. I additionally serve as a Community Adviser in Residential Life, supporting students through personal challenges and academic transitions on a daily basis.
My tutoring approach is patient, personalized, and encouraging. For Spanish, I teach conversational fluency, grammar, writing, and reading comprehension for all levels from beginner to advanced. For ESL students, I focus on building confidence in everyday communication while strengthening academic English skills. For Psychology and Biology, I help students understand core concepts, organize their thinking, and develop the habits that lead to lasting success. I believe every student learns differently and I adapt my style to meet each person where they are.
