Hello! My name is Adam and I am a Biochemistry major at UCLA, where I will be graduating with my Bachelor's this fall. I have extensive experience working with high school and college students, and hope to continue my impact by providing personalized learning to all.
I am one of the head learning assistants here at UCLA. During class, I establish an inclusive learning environment, answer questions, and guide student understanding of course content. As a head learning assistant, I teach dozens of other learning assistants various instructional techniques, devise strategies to improve peer learning, and help refine the curriculum to adapt to student needs.
I recently took my MCAT exam, scoring a 520 after 10 weeks of studying. I also scored a 1550 on the SAT in high school. I enjoy standardized testing because I like to think of it as a puzzle that can be solved with the proper methods and reasonings. I believe that with perseverance and personalized learning that empowers students to develop their skills, anyone can achieve a high score on any standardized test that will set them up for their future aspirations.
