I am a certified educator with a degree in K-12 Spanish Education and Social Studies. As well as certifications in Bilingual Education. I have 5 years of teaching experience working with students from elementary through high school in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one settings.
I currently teach Spanish and English language learners (ELLs), supporting students at Levels 1–3 in developing reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills across content areas. I also tutor Spanish, English Language Arts, and Social Studies, helping students build both academic skills and confidence.
For Spanish instruction, I use a comprehensible input approach, focusing on meaningful communication, listening, and reading to help students acquire the language naturally. My experience is strengthened by real-world exposure, including travel to Argentina and daily use of Spanish in my personal life, as my husband is a native Spanish speaker.
My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps using visuals, guided practice, and real-world connections. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and growing as learners.
