Alright—here’s the deal. Every student has potential. Sometimes they just need the right coach in their corner to help them see it and bring it out.
My name is Samuel, and I’m a licensed special education teacher and reading specialist who works with students to build the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to succeed in school. I currently teach at the high school level, where I support students in reading comprehension, writing, executive functioning, and academic organization. Every day I work with students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves—and together we break the challenge down into steps they can actually win.
I have formal training in literacy development, reading intervention, and writing instruction, and I design individualized learning plans for students with a wide range of learning styles and needs. Many of the students I work with have ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or other learning differences. My job is to help them develop the strategies that allow them to compete academically and believe in their abilities again.
Over the years, I’ve worked with middle school and high school students in classroom settings, one-on-one tutoring environments, and individualized academic support programs. Whether we are tackling a reading assignment, organizing a writing project, or preparing for a major test, the goal is always the same: build the student’s skills while building their confidence.
When we work together, I bring structure, encouragement, and a clear game plan. We break big challenges into manageable plays, practice the fundamentals, and celebrate progress along the way. My goal is not just to help students complete their work—it’s to help them understand how they learn so they can succeed long after the tutoring session is over.
If your student needs support with reading, writing, organization, or building academic confidence, I’d be excited to help them get back in the game and start winning again.
