Hello! My name is Ryan, and I’m a 4th-year dental student at the University of Minnesota. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Concordia College with a degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish. My passion for tutoring began in college, where I worked as a biology tutor to help underclassmen succeed. I now bring over five years of in-person tutoring experience from both undergrad and dental school.

For Spanish learners, I earned a minor with a 4.0 GPA and completed a semester abroad in Spain, achieving C1-level fluency. I specialize in helping students improve grammar, conjugation, conversation, and exam preparation using methods that helped me gain fluency in just two years. My lessons are personalized to make language learning enjoyable and approachable rather than daunting.

For science and dental students, I specialize in tutoring AP biology, pre-dental students seeking application help, and dental school coursework. I provide guidance on high level science class study strategies, test-taking skills, and the dental school application process. I’ve guided many peers successfully through this journey, drawing on my experience as a dental student. With eight years of college and graduate-level coursework under my belt, I’ve developed practical strategies to help students succeed in challenging classes across science and dentistry.

My tutoring style is friendly, patient, and student-focused. I have experience tutoring both one-on-one and in groups, and I strive to make learning effective, enjoyable, and judgment-free. I pride myself on clear communication and adapting lessons to each student’s needs, whether in science or language. My most important goal is to help you achieve yours. Lastly, I limit my number of students to ensure I can provide my undivided attention to meet each students needs.
