I am a graduate student in the Master's of Speech-Language Pathology program at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities looking for opportunities to use my education in speech sounds, early language, reading, language comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and writing to help students achieve their personal and academic goals!

I will be graduating in Spring of 2026 following clinical placements in teen social skills therapy, a pediatric speech therapy clinic (specializing in the treatment of Autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and dyslexia), and an inpatient/acute care clinical rotation at Regions Hospital. I also have prior experience working in early childhood education at Primrose Daycare and volunteering at Wayzata Early Learning School. While I am NOT certified to give professional speech or therapeutic advice at this point in my education, I am well-versed in a variety of foundational speech, reading, and language skills.

I am open to working with children of any all on any speech and language-related skills! Reading comprehension and writing are some of my favorite topics to work on with older kids and young adults. I aim to use child-directed and evidence-based tutoring practices to facilitate functional and relevant learning opportunities for every student!

ADHD

ADHD

I have worked in multiple pediatric outpatient and private-practice clinics underneath the supervision of certified Speech and Occupational therapists who have specialized in ADHD treatment and at-home strategies. Many of my students have had goals to maintain attention to language-related or fine-motor tasks to support their academic development. I also worked in a speciality practice to support adolescents with ADHD in developing healthy and supportive social relationships.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I have worked in multiple pediatric outpatient and private-practice clinics underneath the supervision of certified Speech and Occupational therapists whose caseloads consist primarily of clients receiving services for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Following graduation from my SLP program I hope to specialize in Gestalt language processing and behavioral management strategies that are based on neurodiversity-affirming care principles. I also have specialized experience in group social therapy for adolescents with ASD.
Special Needs

Special Needs

I have worked in multiple pediatric outpatient and private-practice clinics underneath the supervision of certified Speech and Occupational therapists with highly varied caseloads working on different educational, social, and communicative skills at a wide range of skill levels. I am familiar with counseling and behavioral methods related to ASD, ADHD, developmental delay, dyslexia, and apraxia, and have loved learning to embed learning opportunities related to IEP goals into other forms of tutoring. I believe my experiences and techniques are flexible to fit the support needs of many different children, and love to bring engaging new activities to my sessions based on their own preferred play and learning styles!
