I am a graduate student in the Master's of Speech-Language Pathology program at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities looking for opportunities to use my education in speech sounds, early language, reading, language comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and writing to help students achieve their personal and academic goals!
I will be graduating in Spring of 2026 following clinical placements in teen social skills therapy, a pediatric speech therapy clinic (specializing in the treatment of Autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and dyslexia), and an inpatient/acute care clinical rotation at Regions Hospital. I also have prior experience working in early childhood education at Primrose Daycare and volunteering at Wayzata Early Learning School. While I am NOT certified to give professional speech or therapeutic advice at this point in my education, I am well-versed in a variety of foundational speech, reading, and language skills.
I am open to working with children of any all on any speech and language-related skills! Reading comprehension and writing are some of my favorite topics to work on with older kids and young adults. I aim to use child-directed and evidence-based tutoring practices to facilitate functional and relevant learning opportunities for every student!
