I hold a Master of Arts in Sports Leadership and am currently pursuing my MBA (expected May 2026). My academic training has equipped me with strong foundations in leadership, communication, and educational psychology—skills I integrate into every tutoring and teaching session. In addition, I am a licensed elementary educator with several years of classroom experience at Monroe Elementary, where I have taught grades 2 through 4.

Over the course of my teaching career, I have worked with a wide range of students, diverse in learning styles, backgrounds, and academic needs. I also have extensive experience teaching Common Core standards in reading, writing, and mathematics. I help students meet and exceed grade-level benchmarks through differentiated instruction, real-world connections, and a growth-mindset approach. I specialize in helping students develop confidence in core subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and mathematics, while also building the study habits and mindset needed for lasting success. My approach emphasizes positive relationships, differentiated instruction, and growth mindset strategies to ensure each learner feels seen, supported, and capable.

I have provided both one-on-one tutoring and small-group instruction in formal classroom settings as well as through enrichment programs. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a safe and encouraging learning environment where their voice matters. I focus on making learning engaging and purposeful, connecting lessons to students’ real-life interests and strengths.

By blending my background in education, leadership, and performance coaching, I aim to help students not only improve academically but also grow in confidence, focus, and self-discipline, skills that translate far beyond the classroom.
