I hold a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and I am certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP). Over the years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in the clinical laboratory, where I have worked as a bench technologist and currently serve in a leadership role. In these positions, I have trained and mentored MLS and MLT students during their clinical rotations, helping them strengthen their understanding of subjects such as clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, blood banking, phlebotomy, and other laboratory-related topics. I also assist college students with general biology, anatomy, physiology, general chemistry, and philosophy.
My tutoring approach is student-centered and adaptive. I focus on identifying areas of weakness, simplifying complex concepts, and connecting theory to real laboratory practice. I have worked with college students and recent graduates to help them improve their grades and prepare for the ASCP Certification exams, guiding them through both content review and test-taking strategies. Whether in one-on-one sessions or small group discussions, my goal is to help students build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve success in their academic and professional goals.
