I have a passion for human wellbeing on a holistic level. This is why my career led me into science and healthcare. With bachelor's degrees in both biology and nursing, along with certifications in Basic Life Support and as a Public Health Nurse, I've dedicated myself to understanding and teaching about our bodies and health in a comprehensive way.
In my 8 years as a biology lab manager and college tutor, I've had the privilege of guiding students through subjects like general biology, anatomy & physiology, math, and more. Whether in one-on-one sessions or classroom settings, I believe in personalized, strengths-based approaches that cater to each student's unique learning style. My goal is always to empower students not just to understand the material, but to embrace learning as a lifelong skill.
Outside of academics, I’ve spent 5 years as a registered nurse, where I've taught patients and families about holistic healthcare practices and medical procedures. This diverse experience has equipped me with practical knowledge that I integrate into my tutoring sessions, using real-life examples to make complex concepts more accessible.
