Hi! I'm Simon, and I'm passionate about making learning accessible and enjoyable. With a diverse tutoring background that includes economics at Amherst College (3.92 major GPA, 3.88 cumulative), ESL instruction, and serving as an MBA finance TA at UCLA Anderson, I'm excited to help students of all backgrounds achieve their goals.

My educational journey taught me the power of dedicated teachers. Whether guiding someone in English, economics, or math, I aim to be that positive force. I believe anyone can learn when concepts are broken down clearly and tailored to the individual learner. My approach is to personalize lessons, build strong foundations, and empower students with the learning tools they need for long-term success.

My top academic achievements include a near-perfect SAT score (1560), National Merit Finalist status, and work experience as an IMF research assistant on monetary policy during the Great Recession. I've even put my economics knowledge to practice as a consultant in Malaysia!
