About Kim

Bio

I am a licensed teacher, certified to teach English / Language Arts (middle and high school); Reading K-12; Secondary Remedial Reading; Secondary Developmental Reading; and Traffic Safety). I have taught in public schools and worked with kids and adults of all ages, and have even taught for the Customized Training departments of local colleges for 18 years.

My approach to learning is to provide active learning opportunities, explicit instruction, along with coaching and feedback. I love helping students develop their critical thinking and comprehension skills and strategies.
