Teaching dance has helped me develop patience, clear communication skills, and the ability to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs, which I bring into every tutoring session.
As a dance instructor, I have worked one-on-one and in small group settings, guiding students through new skills by breaking concepts down into simple, manageable steps and offering encouragement along the way. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I focus on explaining material in multiple ways, checking for understanding, and helping students build confidence as they practice. I also emphasize consistency, organization, and goal-setting to help students stay motivated and engaged.
I enjoy creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. My goal is to help students feel more confident in their abilities, reduce academic stress, and develop strong learning habits that will support them both in and out of the classroom.
