I have just gone through the process, particularly applying to the Ivy league and other selective institutions. I was accepted into all that I applied to, and I choose to attend Yale. I know the little advantages that will make your application as competitive as possible. Also, have experience consulting/applying to scholarships as well, I am a Questbridge Scholar which means I will be attending Yale on a full scholarship.

I have gotten a perfect score on the ACT reading, have extensive experience in the humanities, and have helped numerous students develop their writing over the course of my lessons. At Yale, I have been accepted to pursue the humanities, which furthers my skills here.

The college essay is both the most unique and difficult aspect of the college admissions process. Unlike the ACT or your high school G.P.A., it is not easily quantified.
