I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science from Cornell University. These degrees have provided me with a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of technology, which I’ve applied throughout my 20-year career in software development. My academic background has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand complex technical concepts, which I’ve successfully translated into effective teaching strategies in various educational settings.

My teaching experience is diverse and spans both formal and informal settings. As a Lead Instructor at ID Tech Camp, I designed and delivered curriculum focused on programming languages and software development methodologies. I taught students ranging from middle school to high school, typically aged 10 to 17. My approach emphasized hands-on learning, where students could engage with the material by building projects, coding games, and even working with robotics. This method not only kept students engaged but also helped them grasp complex concepts through practical application.

In addition to my formal teaching experience, I have also mentored junior engineers in professional settings, guiding them through their early careers and helping them develop their technical skills. Whether in a classroom or one-on-one, my goal has always been to make learning interactive and accessible, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each learner. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand, all of which are crucial skills in any educational role.
