Hi there, my name is Riley! I graduated from Concordia college with my Bachelor of Music in Instrumental performance, and from North Dakota State University with my Master of Music also in instrumental performance.
I play the tuba, trombone, euphonium and a little bit of the piano. I’ve helped teach brass players, marching bands and I used to teacher elementary music and middle/high school choir, so I have a lot of different experience with helping students of different types. I love music history and music theory and finding different ways to help people understand all of it.
One of the great things about music is that there are a ton of different ways to get to the point of understanding it, whether it’s singing, playing an instrument, or trying to understand music theory and how to read music. Patience is key and I like to work through it together with my students and help everyone love music just as much as I do!
