I graduated with a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from St. John’s University (MN), a liberal arts college, and I try to make math accessible to all my students via my accomplished communication skills. I make math a subject anyone can relate to regardless of their background, skill level, or prior experience by explaining the math concepts in simplified terms, with patient understanding. I enjoy teaching math, and learning math does not have to be the difficult process some people think it is. Many times, it comes down to the right approach toward problem solving, and the correct way to think about a solution. I can teach this at any level up to, and including, high school mathematics. As an undergraduate, I had a 3.85 GPA taking classes such as Calculus III, Differential Equations, Statistics, and physics classes through Statistical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics. I have taught math both in a one-to-one school, and as a math tutor.
